Oba Ashiru Olatunbosun Tadese, The Oluwo of Iwoland reportedly joins his ancestors.
Oba Tadese passed on yesterday at 80 years at his palace after a protracted illness.
The first-class Osun monarch ascended the throne of his forebears in 1992 and his tenure witnessed significant development of Iwo.
Oluomo Sunday Akere, Osun State commissioner for Information and Strategy, broke the news of Oba Tadese’s transition, described him as a forthright and astute leader who will never compromise the well-being of his people for anything.
Burial slated for today according to Islamic rites.
