Teslim, Ex-Oyo Gov's Brother Dies In London 6 Years After Ajimobi's Death

Alhaji Teslim Ajimobi, the younger brother of late former Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, is dead.

Teslim's death came exactly six years after the demise of his brother whose sixth year remembrance was held on Thursday in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The deceased who once served as the Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government Area in 2017 reportedly passed away in London on Thursday.

Reacting to his demise, former Senate Leader, Senator Teslim Folarin, who is also a relative of the deceased, described him as a supportive brother, pillar of strength, and a man who gave without being asked.

"Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Alhaji Teslim Ajimobi was more than a cousin. He was a supportive brother, a pillar of strength, and a man who gave without being asked. His counsel, loyalty, and selflessness will be deeply missed.

"May Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus, and give the entire Ajimobi family the strength to bear this painful loss," the former governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State said.
