Adeleke Camp Kicks As APC Group Unveils AMBO Cash Relief For 2,000 Women In Osun

The Ahmed Saliu-Alubankudi Foundation in partnership with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 3, Ijebu Ijesha, Osun State, has unveiled a cash empowerment programme, tagged 'AMBO Cash Relief' for 2,000 women in the area.

According to a statement e-signed by the Media and Public Relations Unit of the 

Ahmed Saliu-Alubankudi Foundation, the gesture was a continued demonstration of the APC's commitment to grassroots empowerment.

The empowerment scheme was scheduled to be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Ijebu Ijesha, Osun State.

The Foundation added that the intervention, "powered by the Ahmed Saliu-Alubankudi Foundation (ÌDÈRÁ-TIDÉ) in collaboration with APC Ward 3, Ijebu-Ijesa, will be facilitated by the Director-General of the Osun APC Campaign Council, Hon. Oluwole Oke, as part of ongoing efforts to support families and strengthen grassroots participation ahead of the governorship election."

It further stressed that the scheme reflects the shared vision of the APC governorship candidate for the August 15, 2026, election, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola

 Oyebamiji popularly called AMBO, and the progressive leadership, to deliver people-centred programmes that directly impact lives. 

"Beyond financial support, the programme underscores the party's unwavering commitment to women empowerment, economic inclusion, and sustainable community development, while reinforcing the confidence of the people in the Renewed Hope agenda for Osun State," the statement stated.

RhemDy News reports that the cash relief programme comes two days after Secretary to Osun State Government.(SSG), Teslim Igbalaye, was arrested by the Police for alleged possession of N4.8million meant for vote buying, among other accusations.

Responding to the scheme, Pelumi Olajengbesi, the spokesperson of the reelection team of Governor Ademola Adeleke of Accord Party, The Imole Campaign Council (TICC), disclosed that the APC planned to empower the women with N50,000 each.

Olajengbesi also criticized that police for looking away, maintaining that members of his political party would have been arrested if they had embarked on such programme.

"Wole Oke announced he will empower 2,000 women in Ijebu Jesa with ₦50,000 each this morning. I honestly acknowledge this programme and commend any genuine effort aimed at supporting our people.

"If this programme was organised by Accord, the Nigeria Police would have invaded the venue and arrest the organisers for vote buying," Olajengbesi stated.

He charged the people of Ijebu Ijesa who have voted Oke for 24 years that all House of Representatives members across Osun State have implemented various constituency empowerment programmes funded through government allocations over the last four years without the federal lawmaker touching their lives.

"This morning, collect the 50k each and on Election Day, vote for the people’s candidate, Governor Ademola Adeleke," he said.

The lawyer and politician further charged a volunteer to compile the names of the beneficiaries of the APC's support, "I will support all the beneficiaries with an additional ₦100,000 each as part of my personal humanitarian outreach to women in Ijebu Jesa."

He added that his support is unconditional and unconnected to politics, voting, or any electoral activity. 

"Beneficiaries are free to exercise their constitutional right to vote according to their conscience," he said.
