Senator Yayi Mourns Veteran Actor Ogogo

Lawmaker representing Ogun West, Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known  as Yayi, has expressed great sadness and regrets over the demise of veteran Yoruba actor, Mr. Taiwo Babatunde Hassan, popularly called Ogogo.

Ogogo died on Sunday evening after battling Stage 4 cancer

Yayi, the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, 

In a condolence message to the family of the late popular actor sighed by his media adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, the federal lawmaker described the death of Ogogo as a great loss to the creative and entertainment industry, stresssing that his demise at this time is loss to the family, Ogun State and Nigeria. 

“I am greatly sadden by the death of a brother who believed and worked assiduously for my cause and the cause of our people. I sympathise with his immediate family for their efforts and struggles to keep the dearly departed alive following his illness. God knows best in all circumstances,“ the senator stated.

Yayi noted that the late actor’s role in the drive for a better society through film-making and other positive advocacy will always be remembered, adding that he left a legacy worthy of emulation. 

Senator Adeola promised continued support for the immediate family in their hour of need, adding that the good deeds of the patriarch of the family to the society will not be forgotten. 

He prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the thespian and fortitude for the immediate family to bear the irreparable loss of dearly departed.
